We are pleased to offer five new, turbine-powered, wave and current generating devices. Ocean Currents' Wave Makers are specifically designed for high-flow aquarium applications and are easy to use! Simply plan where you want waves, currents or still water in your aquarium. Select the model(s) and accessories to achieve the desired flow patterns. Place the device at the proper location in your aquarium using the suction cups on the base (use stands as required). Attach the inlet to any pump or power head with a 5/8" or 3/4" discharge and watch your aquarium thrive!

The Oscillator

The Oscillatorcreates a pressure wave with a 100 degree back and forth sweep of water from the power head.

SUGGESTIONS FOR USE:

  • Mount under the hood for a sweeping discharge across the top of the tank.
  • Use the stand to move a sweeping discharge to various heights in the tank.
  • Use a fan-shaped nozzle to spread a sweeping flow vertically in the tank.
  • Mount horizontally with the fan nozzle attachment to sweep a discharge top to bottom.
  • Mount under the hood with the bubbler nozzle at a 45 degree angle and sweep the tank with air bubbles.

The Rotator

The Rotator creates a pressure wave with a 360 degree rotation of water from the power head.

SUGGESTIONS FOR USE:

  • Mount under the hood for a rotating discharge across the top of the tank.
  • Use the stand to move the rotating discharge to various heights in the tank.
  • Use the fan-shaped nozzle to spread a rotating flow vertically in the tank.
  • Mount horizontally with the fan nozzle to rotate top to bottom.

The Rotator Pulser The Rotating Pulser creates a pressure wave by pulsing a flat fan-shaped stream of water combined with a 100 degree sweeping discharge of water from the power head.

SUGGESTIONS FOR USE:

  • Mount under the hood for a flat pulsing wave action across the top of the tank. Add an extension to the rotating outlet and sweep across the bottom of the tank.
  • Mount on the bottom of the tank to pulse on the bottom and sweep across the top.
  • Use the adjustment ring accessory to modify the flow of the flat stream. Use various nozzles to modify the flow from the rotating outlet.
  • Mount horizontally to pulse wave action across the back of coral and remove the nozzle to pulse a straight stream across the side of the tank.
  • Use a stand to mount in the center of the tank and pulse in one direction while sweeping across in another.

The Pulser The Pulser creates a pressure wave by pulsing a flat fan-shaped stream of water from the power head.

SUGGESTIONS FOR USE:

  • Mount under the hood for a flat pulsing wave action across the top of the tank.
  • Use a stand to move the flat pulsing wave action to various heights in the tank.
  • Use the adjustment ring accessory to modify the flow as desired.
  • Mount horizontally to pulse wave action across the back of coral.

The Two-Port Pulser The Two-Port Pulser creates a pressure wave by pulsing pump water through two opposing ports.

SUGGESTIONS FOR USE:

  • For lots of pulsing bubbles, plug one port with item #00262 and install a bubbler nozzle in the other.
  • Place The Two-Port Pulser behind coral and use fan nozzles to work around both sides.
  • The Two-Port Pulser, combined with a stand and all the available nozzles, makes a versatile tool with too many combinations to list!

The Stands The Stands. Durable L and C-shaped stands support any Ocean Currents Wave Maker at any height in the tank.

The Ring The Ring controls the shape and size of the fan-shaped flat stream on the Pulser and the Rotating Pulser.
